Breathing swing in every phrase, they create a rich musical tapestry that moves effortlessly between intimacy, classical elegance, and the vibrant pulse of jazz.
In recent years, they have performed together at festivals and concert series across the country, earning praise for their natural onstage dialogue and fresh arrangements of beloved classics.
The program features gems such as Autumn in New York, Dream a Little Dream of Me, Fly Me to the Moon, and I Loves You, Porgy, alongside songs by Gershwin, Bernstein, Hammerstein, Jobim, and others.

From Schubert to Matti Caspi – Between Words and Sounds
A Dialogue Between Words and Music – Inspired by Poetry, Prose, and the Works of Schubert
A concert that places at its center the fruitful encounter between the written word and music, through works inspired by poetry and prose that create a compelling dialogue between the two worlds.
On stage, Schubert’s Death and the Maiden meets Matti Caspi’s Makom Le’daaga (A Place for Worry), all presented in new arrangements by the Hamelin Quartet that lend these familiar works a fresh and surprising character.
This evening illuminates the emotional and conceptual connections between universal creative realms, word and sound, offering a renewed perspective on the poetic power and imagination they embody.
The program highlights some of Schubert’s most beautiful works: Death and the Maiden for string quartet; Theme and Variations for flute and piano in a special arrangement; and Gretchen am Spinnrade. Alongside these are songs from West Side Story and Israeli songs by Matti Caspi and Yoni Rechter.
